Brittany Covert – Office Manager Brittany oversees the day-to-day activities of the practice. She attended Boise State University where she received an Associate of Science degree in Health Informatics and Information Management. She went on to obtain a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in Health Information Management from the State University of New York, Utica/Rome. She has worked in the healthcare industry since 2003. Brittany was born and raised in Post Falls, Idaho. In 2006, she relocated to Idaho Falls where she now lives with her husband, Clint, and her yellow lab, Pete. In her spare time she enjoys backpacking and fishing with her family and friends. Krystal Andrus – Receptionist Krystal is one of two friendly faces patients will see when walking through Alpine Dermatology’s doors. As a receptionist, Krystal interacts with patrons up front as she takes appointments over the phone and checks patients in and out. She grew up in Orem, Utah and moved to Rexburg to attend Brigham Young University-Idaho where she later graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Leadership. She loves the outdoors and enjoys traveling, whether it's cruising the Caribbean or backpacking in the Grand Canyon. Krystal enjoys day-to-day interaction with people from the community of Rexburg. Michelle McGuire – Receptionist Michelle just might be the first person a patient interacts with when visiting Alpine Dermatology. Among other things, Michelle greets patients and provides courteous service during the scheduling process. She grew up in Utah and attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where she studied Fine Arts with an emphasis on Painting. She currently lives in Rexburg with her husband Kevin. Michelle loves to sing, paint and read. Veronica Ojeda Moreno – Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant As a Certified Medical Assistant, Veronica obtains medical histories and prepares patients for minor or major procedures such as biopsies, excisions or Mohs Micrographic Surgery. After graduating from Blackfoot High School in 2000, she went on to receive an Associate of Science degree from Keiser University. Veronica has worked in healthcare since 2006. She has experience in phlebotomy and has received extensive training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Originally from Mexico, Veronica is now living in Rigby with her husband, Roberto, and her two beautiful children, Gittselle and Christian. On her days off she likes to ride her bike, run and spend time with her family. David Batt – Medical Assistant David graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Pre-Medicine. He previously worked at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, and has been working in the healthcare field since 2008. He was recently accepted into physician assistant school and will be starting this fall. David lives in Rexburg with his wife Elizabeth. He grew up just outside of Idaho Falls on a small farm. His hobbies include backpacking, skiing, guitar playing and sports. Jennica Hirrlinger – Medical Assistant Jennica is a medical assistant at Alpine Dermatology with a second job as a mother of four active kids. Before coming to work at Alpine Dermatology, Jennica was a stay-at-home mom for 11 years. Her experience with patient care includes working as a volunteer EMT for Madison County Ambulance for two years. She is now enjoying the opportunity to work for Dr. Marshall as a medical assistant and a certified Mohs Histo-technician. When she’s not working, Jennica enjoys training for and competing in triathlons and marathons. |
